PROVENCE
THE EXPERIENCE
Renowned for its fragrant lavender, beautiful landscape, and artistic traditions, past and present, the South of France is not only home to renowned post-impressionists Paul Cézanne and Vincent Van Gogh but also incredible artisans whose creations include fragrance, textiles, and earthenware. The celebrated region of Provence is ideally suited for exploring the rich history of art, architecture, and design throughout the region from the medieval period to the present. And when we are not soaking up the sites and experiences au Provencal, lounge by the pool with a glass of local rose’ and your book! It will be both an exploration and a vacation!
Throughout this sun-filled journey, we will visit artist studios, artisan workshops, and markets to see hands-on production of painting, Indienne textiles, and other regional specialties, i.e., , lavender, chocolate and salt!
