Zurich to St. Moritz : Lakes, Mountains and Cities

Our journey begins in Zurich. The itinerary unfolds at a relaxed, cultured pace: walking through the beautiful streets of the Old Town, visiting landmarks, shops, galleries and enjoying the lake.
Lake Zurich provides a scenic backdrop—best enjoyed by boat or on a quiet lakeside walk— evenings are reserved for traditional Swiss cuisine, French or Italian. While urban, Zurich is peaceful and its quiet elegance is the perfect place from which to start our journey.
A day trip outside of Zurich highlights the charming town of Lucerne with its covered bridges and Swiss charm. We visit the factory of Pilatus aircraft and experience Swiss innovation. On our way to St. Moritz we stop at the famous Laderach chocolate factory. Chocolate is synonymous with Switzerland!
We will then board the Bernina express and take a memorable train ride to our destination of St. Moritz, marveling at the amazing scenery along the way.
In St. Moritz, the experience turns distinctly alpine. Mornings begin with fresh mountain air and breathtaking views, followed by days shaped around hiking, spa experiences, or horse drawn carriage rides. The village’s legendary glamour—luxury hotels, refined boutiques, and polished service provides a feeling of private indulgence. Great restaurants abound.
As night falls, fireside lounges and intimate gourmet dining create a sense of idyllic Engadine charm. Whether wrapped in blankets under the stars or relaxing in a thermal spa, St. Moritz feels designed for the appreciation of nature in a world class destination.
At the end of our 6 night journey you will have experienced some of the best of Switzerland; a small country with infinite natural beauty.
To fully enjoy our time together you should be in good physical condition and comfortable with the following:
* guests should be able to walk or stand for several hours every day. We take breaks and have lunch but my trips involve a lot of walking. You must feel sure footed on cobbled streets and uneven pavements. If taxis are required due to physical limitations please understand this is the financial responsibility of the client.
* guests will have porter help with your luggage at hotels upon arrival and departure but should be able to manage your luggage until porters arrive which sometimes can mean getting your luggage to a central area of pick up.
